Chuck Robinson and Squad

"After 46 years of not being in contact I found 4 of my brothers who served in Vietnam in 1969-1970. We were in the 25th Inf. 2/27th Wolfhounds, all in the same squad. Unfortunately the fifth brother had died in 2005 of cancer his name was James N. McClure, one of the best men I have ever known. Left is me Chuck Robinson, Jerry Vinson, Bob Kelly, and Pat Carroll, all infantryman, all decorated soldiers, all Purple Hearts and unfortunately all have PTSD. We met in Rockland, Maine as a tribute to our fallen brother, his wife Gail McClure and family welcomed us with open arms, it was our first real welcome home. We were treated to a wonderful lobster meal and a great time. Feelings and emotions of overwhelming love. This trip would not of taken place if it wasn't for this group, thank you Merrill! Vietnam is still claiming lives of our brothers. I feel at peace for the first time since Vietnam, walking through the fear and receiving such love. Thank you all!"
